i2i K9 Dog Behavior Seminars

i2iK9 offers an array of seminars designed to meet the needs of owners, handlers, and trainers at the following levels:

Basic Canine Behavior Modification: Helping owners, handlers, and trainers understand the fundamental concepts needed to use positive reinforcement based operant and classical conditioning. This one day seminar is basically a crash course in behavioral ethology.

Intermediate Canine Behavior Modification: Building on skills taught in the Basic Canine Behavior Modification seminar, participants will learn how to systematically develop reliability and solve problems in their pet or working dog.
Canine Aggression and Problem Solving: One, two, and three day seminars loaded with useful techniques for resolving problem behaviors in pet or working dogs.

K9 Scent Work: Participants will learn how to use most behaviorally sound methods to select dogs for scent work, train strong scent work behavior chains, and proof dogs for real world distractions.

Horse and Livestock Husbandry Behavior Remediation: Using shaping and target training you will learn how to break your animals vices, and shape solid productive behaviors, without resorting to force.

Working Dog Consultation: Steve White first began working with law enforcement K9s in 1975. Since that time he has developed a reputation as an "outside the box" thinker who specializes in solving behavior and scent work problems. The i2iK9 team can teach you, your staff, and your working dogs how to perform at optimum levels. For police K9 units, i2iK9 offers consultation and unit audits aimed at maximizing efficiency and minimizing liability exposure.
